Your Dreams are gifts from God

Dear Princess of God, one of the things that makes you a Princess of God is that you are filled with hopes, goals and dreams, and God gives these precious things to you.

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17

You must nurture what you are given and work hard to make those dreams and hopes and goals come true, with God’s help.

It’s helpful to have a place where you sketch out your dreams, goals, and ideas, hopes and plans, whether that be digitally or in a planner or notebook, that way you can come back to them after some time and see your progress. You are also more likely to progress if you repeatedly write your goals down. You are also more likely to progress if you hold yourself accountable, with specific targets or you measure your daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc. progress somewhere.

For example, if your goal is to read 100 good spiritual books in a year, perhaps you track the number of pages you read or keep a running list of all the books you have read so far. This way you see progress towards your dream or goal and you feel a sense of accomplishment even before completing that goal, which is so important for you in order to keep working hard and persevering until you do.

In He & I, Jesus says to Gabrielle Bossis, “Don’t forget that I am Man also. I too have My dreams and hopes. May I say to you, ‘Respond to all My dreams for you, for your pilgrimage among men and for your influence, as though you took from Me to give to others'”

Jesus loves dreams and hopes and He too has them! In fact, he wants to hope and dream, through you and united with you! Don’t reject Him by thinking you need to accomplish all your plans on your own, but invite Him in every step of the way.
