The Princess of God thanks Him in every circumstance, whether it is in adversity or hardship or suffering or in blessings and prosperity.
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Job exemplifies this kind of demeanor – though seriously and severely afflicted by God in every area of his life, losing everything including his health, he continued to thank and praise God.
Psalms of Thanksgiving that are wonderful to pray include Psalms 18, 21, 28, 30, 40, 65, 68, 75, 92, 103, 107, 116, 124, and 138.
Furthermore, we should always gives thanks to Jesus for the great and incomprehensible love He has shown to mankind, by His Passion.
Jesus complains of the ingratitude of men to many of His Saints:
“In return for My blessings, I get ingratitude. In return for My love, I get forgetfulness and indifference. My Heart cannot bear this.” – Jesus to St. Faustina
The Princess of God makes reparation to Jesus and His Sacred Heart for this ingratitude by doing the opposite, by thanking Him continually.
She can do this also by making Holy Hours of Reparation to His Sacred Heart as well, adoring before the Blessed Sacrament.
The Princess of God delights Jesus with her thanksgiving;
Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. Isaiah 62:4
