Jesus, Our Shepherd

The Princess of God is a lamb that Jesus holds close to His Heart.

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 40:11

How wonderful it is to be a sheep or a lamb in your Maker’s arms! This means above all, to trust in Jesus with all your heart.

The Princess of God has the trust of such a lamb or sheep, and like a lamb or sheep she stays close to her Shepherd for safety and out of pure love (: Her trust shows that she truly loves her Shepherd.

Prayers of trust that the Princess of God can say include the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Litany of Trust.

Being a sheep or a lamb also gives the Princess of God the assurance that she is greatly loved and never has to feel insecure or unloved. Jesus and God love her “more in a moment” than anyone else could ever possibly love her. She never has to fear or worry she isn’t loved because she is always loved fully and completely by her Shepherd and Maker, who cares about every aspect of her well-being and safety, and progress in life and towards eternal life.

But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. John 10:12

Jesus was speaking to His Princesses when He spoke these words – those that are hired to watch over the spiritual welfare of his followers may not truly care or love the sheep, but He, the true Shepherd, does, and “lays his life down” for them. This is what Jesus has done for you!
