God wants you, his beloved Princess, to “win” both in life, and in eternal life, gaining the glory of Paradise. He is not against you, but for you, and His “rules” or commandments and His pronouncements are all for your benefit and well-being, so that you do “win” and live and have life to the fullest.
God is goodness itself and wishes only good for His children and His Princesses, and He is saddened when instead of a good, loving father who is on your side in everything, you see His Law as a terrible imposition on your freedom or what it is you want to do, or that it is difficult to follow.
When you hurt, He hurts too, because you are His Beloved Princess and child. Far from being far-off and distant, He is involved in every single detail of your life and in all your cares, concerns and feelings. They all matter to Him! God and Jesus care for your every hurt, every need, and rejoice with you in every victory, every success of yours, just as a parent takes delight in each step of their infant baby!
By this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep His commandments. 3For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome, 1 John 5:2-3
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
Jesus came to earth and lived amongst us, so that you could “win” at life and live it to it’s full. It deeply saddens Him to see you struggle through life, when He has provided the path for every joy and every success.
Jesus has made God’s commandments easy to follow and by being His disciple in the Law of Love, we win at both life and eternal life. The more we follow Him and the more we trust Him, the more we ‘win’!
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:30
God is a God of Victory – He does not “lose” or experience defeat in any way, ever. As His Princess, He gives you His victories as well – most of all His victories over sin and death that Jesus secured for us once and for all on the cross. Live in His light, and His Victory!
