One of the wonderful things for God’s Princesses is that he makes many, many wonderful promises to us – and these are promises that last, promises that God always keeps. Too often we, instead of believing and trusting in God’s and Jesus’ Promises for us, we fall into the trap of believing false promises, which are ultimately of the enemy.
To armor yourself as a Princess Warrior, immerse yourself in the many promises of God, both in His Word and promises Jesus and the Blessed Mother have made through various devotions; I will share with you some of my favorites (:
~And every one who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.~ Matthew 19:29
Perhaps you have thought of entering the religious life or even just becoming a missionary or volunteering in your local area – this promise applies to you! Jesus asks that we give up these good things, children, parents, lands, wealth or money (perhaps this may even be just taking a more charitable or service oriented vocation or profession when you could earn much more doing something else). Sometimes Jesus also asks us to give up possessions, as he did in another verse, the story of the rich young man who asked Jesus what he should do to have eternal life:
~Jesus said to him, ‘If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.’ When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful; for he had great possessions.~ Matthew 19:22
This young man went away sad, and sometimes we can become so attached to things that are not God that we lose out on spiritual riches in this way. Don’t be like this rich young man, be a Princess Warrior ready and courageous enough to follow Christ where He leads you! (:
In an apparition to Sr. Josefa Menendez, Jesus tells her ‘You will never regret any sacrifice you have made for Me during your life!” – Words of Jesus, p.22. How true this is – Jesus in His Word, has promised that he will give both treasure in heaven and a hundredfold for what you give up for Him – and He doesn’t violate His Promises, so we know this must be true!
To explore further the many, many promises God makes to us, to His Princesses, I strongly encourage you to purchase a the Promise Edition of the Holy Bible, available here, with verses containing promises of God highlighted in teal.
